WELCOME TO THE SCOTTISH LITHUANIAN COMMUNITY WEBSITE!
Scottish Lithuanian Community (SLC) is a non-profit organisation set up and run by volunteers. We are the only group of its kind in Scotland, solely dedicated to educating, supporting and helping Lithuanian people who now reside in this beautiful country as well as representing Lithuanian culture to the most respected Scottish public. Here are the focus points of our activities:
- Helping Lithuanian nationals overcome the transition and speed up the successful integration into the Scottish society aiming to become effective contributors in the nation’s wellbeing;
- Promoting Lithuanian culture among Scottish citizens;
- Liaising with the official Scottish institutions in order to represent Community interests and defend the rights of our members.
